CHALLENGE 209:
WHAT SHOULD SAM SAY?

YOU PLEDGED FOR IT.
NOW HELP US DESIGN IT.

Before you ask: SAM SAYS that we need at least 250 of you to help us come with additional challenges for the “SAM SAYS” section of Game Changer: Home Edition.

We know it’s more work for you, players… but if you think about it, you only have yourselves to blame. After all, you were the ones who unlocked more SAM SAYS cards for the game.

Work begets more work, players…
but it also begets you a better game for your pledge.

To make sure that you only submit your best ideas, each player can PROPOSE NO MORE THAN 3 RULES.

To make sure your SAM SAYS suggestions are worthy of the name, we’ve got a few guidelines from Joshua Balvin, the game’s co-designer, on what makes a great SAM SAYS:

1. It’s obvious if you break the rule.

The game will be moving fast, so you’ll want something that has a clear win or lose condition, and can be called out as soon as a player breaks the rule. Avoid challenges that require a lot of interpretation and subjective judging.

2. Silly is better than hard.

Yes, Game Changer is often about torturing your friends, but it should be the fun kind of torture. We need challenges that will make your friends laugh, not just punish them with an impossible task.

3. Uncomfortable isn’t funny.

No matter what you’ve seen on the show, Game Changer: Home Edition won’t be fun if it makes players truly uncomfortable. (Remember, the contestants you see on your television are trained comedy professionals.) We want this to be fun for everyone.

Please be sure to read the required Terms & Conditions for participating in Game Changer Daily Community Challenges before submitting your entry. (Players outside the United States are welcome to join, despite what the T&C says.)
